murchison-falls crocsDay 1: Murchison Falls National Park

From Kampala, began the picturesque drive to Murchison Falls National Park through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon you will be guided to the “top of the falls” for an opportunity to witness the brilliance of the Nile. Look out for the African Skimmery and Rock pranticole from the falls.

murchison-falls safarisDay 2: Murchison Falls Early in the morning you will be guided to a game drive through the Nyamsika Plateau, where you can explore a great range of animals including lion, elephant, giraffe,etc. In the afternoon you will be offered a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. In the route, you will came to see a variety of other animals such as hippos, waterbuck, redthroated bee eaters, and the very rare shoebill stork. Take your camera to detain the imposing Murchison Falls.

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park

Whole day drive south from Hoima to Fort Portal through rich countryside and past conventional farms and homesteads.

Day 4: Kibale Forest

Whole day lookout of chimpanzee and ten other primate encompassing red colobus and gray cheeked mangabey. Our guide will explain you, not just about primates, but all the flora and fauna in the forest, make sure your walk is informative & enjoyable.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy a morning trip to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to look for smaller primates and mammals. The guided 4.5 kilometers circular route through the wetland is also the finest guided bird courses in East Africa and it also offer the best chance to witness up to 6 diverse primate classes within a few hours. Following a mystical trip to Rwenzori Mountain range opt to Queen Elizabeth National Park.  You may be awarded with an en route game drive while relishing the sights of lion, leopard, elephant and a range of antelope species.

Enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise to Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward in the afternoon. Throughout this trip you may come to see the highest percentage of hippos. If you love birdwatching and photography then this is the trip for you.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth

The diverse eco-system of Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to an amazing variety of wild creatures. With the gigantic Rwenzoris as a background, game drive in this park offers great chance to see leopard, lion, cape buffalo, giant forest hog, defassa waterbuck, bush buck and more.

Day 7 will start with an early morning exit to Kyambura Gorge where travelers can climb through tropical woodland and catch a sight of a range of primates, encompassing black & white colobus, chimpanzee, olive baboons, etc. Birdwatchers can witness a great range of forest birds here.

Then drive to Lake Mburo National Park to enjoy a boat ride and get close to hippos and crocs.

Bird lovers will relish more than 250 classes of birds discovered in Lake Mburo encompassing Brown faced lapwing, papyrus gonolek and white winged warbler. With its own structure of game routes and cleared pavements the “Kigambara Loop” provides fascinating guided lakeside walks.

Day 8: Kampala

After having breakfast, an armed ranger will guide you for safari walk or game drive. The Kopjes are very fascinating and camouflage topis and kilpspringers. Come back for lunch which can be taken while relishing the sights of the lakes inside this park.

After having lunch, get back to Kampala and stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you can see how the ceremonial drums being crafted employing different methods. There’ll be also a stop at the equator for photographs. You’ll arrive Kampala in the late afternoon.
