Day 1: Lake Mburo National Park


You’ll be taken to Lake Mburo National Park immediately after the breakfast. Get very close to hippos and crocs while relishing a boat cruise on Lake Mburo.

Birdwatchers will certainly have a great time here while enjoying the more than 250 bird species discovered in Lake Mburo encompassing brown faced Lapwing, Papyrus Gonolek, Carruther’s Cisticola, the rare Bare-Faced-Go- Away bird and White winged Warbler. With its individual structure of game routes and cleared pavements the “Kigambara Loop” provides fascinating guided lakeside walks. Cape Buffalo and herds of zebra can be found here as well.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest  

Following breakfast, you will be taken for a safari walk or a game drive under the supervision of a weaponed ranger. The easy pace of a game drive also proffer great chance for the avid photographers. Because of the cattle herding in the region it’s interesting to witness zebra grazing by the side of long-horned Ankore Cattle peacefully.

Enjoy driving through Kigezi Highlands (also known as Switzerland of Africa) with its plateau hillside & rambling roadways to Bwindi.

Day 3: Bwindi, Gorilla trek

This spectacular rainforest provides an interesting steeply wooded landscape and is unbelievably dense, but intertwined by several animal routes enabling access to travelers. Mammals found here encompass the rare mountain gorillas, golden moneky, black-fronted duiker, giant forest log, bushbuck and many others. This park is renowned for the interesting gorillas. The excitement of observing gorillas from very close is an adventure in itself that you don’t want to miss.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Get into Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha sector. Enjoy an afternoon 2-hour sailing on the Kazinga Channel & Lake Edward. This trip will probably take you through the highest  density of hippos and a great range of animals can be observed drinking water at the lake. This boat cruise provides a great chance for bird watching, game viewing and photography.

Day 5: Kampala

Queen Elizabeth National Park’s varied eco-system of tropical jungles, grassy plains, lakes, swamps, volcanic craters are home to an unbelievable number of wildlife. The game drives & the boat cruise are an excellent way to discover a vast range of Ugandan wildlife.

Get back to Kampala while stopping at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en route where you can witness the solemnized drums being made employing tactics passed down through generations. You’ll reach at Kampala in the late afternoon.
