Greetings from freezing cold UK!Now that we are back home just want to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Murchison Falls and Sam did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable, considerate, helpful and a superb safe driver. I have advise the Sheraton how pleased we were with their recommendation of your Companies’ services. It would have been good to have Nile view rooms at the lodge and maybe it would be a good idea to let your customers know if you are unable to secure them to avoid disappointment and anti climax at check in after a very long drive.
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit to magnificent, warm and particularly friendly Uganda and look forward to returning before too long.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Ian Dunwoody – UK – November 2010
I’m now back in Finland where the snow is deep and the sun is somewhere else. I just wanted to thank you for the safari, which went very smoothly in the able hands of your guide/driver Ivan. He was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about animals and plants, so it was a privilige to travel with him. I felt a bit sorry for the car on all the bumpy roads, and I was afraid that it would break down any minute, but in the end it turned out that it was more resilient than what it appeared to be on first glance. But I anyhow suspect that a new car will be on your shortlist of things to buy, unless the roads to Bwindi start improving very soon…Having travelled to Bwindi through Rukungiri (which was extremely bumpy and not 100 % interesting all the time) we returned to Kampala through QENP and Ishaka, which was really good. I strongly recommend that you should continue doing this tour in the future as well, as the road that way was far more smoother and interesting, and it didn’t take any longer at all. That way, you could also sell the Bwindi tour as a Bwindi+QENP tour, which would be even more interesting for your clients. Another good idea would be to have a field guide on East African birds (maybe also other animals and plants) available for your customers in the car, as many situations and sightings arise that would be interesting to confirm/memorize through the use of such guides (Ivan DID know the names of all the animals, but for birders it’s always nice to categorize sights in a more ´scientific/literate´ way as well.)I will certainly recommend your services to any friend travelling to Uganda in the future.
One more thing: could you please send me a receipt of the safari to the address below, as we forgot to obtain one from Ivan during the safari.
And finally, please give our warmest thanks to Ivan for making our short safari a truly memorable experience!
Kind regards, Sebastian Heilm – Finland – December 2010

We have left our hearts somewhere in Queen Elizabeth and in the highlands of bwindi. We loved every second we were here. Our love of nature and seeing the animals and birds in their true environment is something we will never forget. The thought of leaving was unbearable.” –Lucie Carter.
